CESENATICO

The best thing about living in Italy is the fact that our home is pretty close to the sea, and going there is a perfect escape from the everyday city chaos.

Except when a bad weather doesn’t allow us to be on the coast, we enjoy there every single weekend.

If you think that we are having fun only during the summer time, you’re wrong.  For example, my favorite period for visiting places on the Italian coastline is between Christmas and New Year’s Eve and believe or not they seem more crowded than during other seasons.

The smell of delicious Italian dolci and Italian hot mulled wine sold on the streets combined with the smell of the sea is something that gives a special charm to the whole festive atmosphere.

This time our choice fell on Cesenatico, a seaport town with an amazing outdoor Museum where you can see plenty of historic fishing boats displayed in the channel which passes through the town. See how it looks like 🙂

GREAT TIP ON HOW TO START YOUR DAY

I collected some powerful life quotes and made a collage out of them which I keep under my bed.

Every morning, before getting up, I pull out this lovely collage and  read carefully every single quote…being fully focused on the words.

It really helps me to start my day on a positive note and feed myself with a positive energy that I will definitely be needing throughout the day!!  🙂

SPELLO

I can’t say that I haven’t already visited this region and I can’t say that I wasn’t aware of all the amazing places  this region has… Our trip was planned carefully and based on the experience  we had, which taught us that without equipments, such as: fotocamera, videocamera and other ancillary things, we shouldn’t leave our house.

For those who are maybe not quite sure, Umbria is a region in the central part of  Italy, and doesn’t have a coastline. The regional capital is gorgeous Perugia, through whitch we tirelessly walked as well. (You will have a chance to see how it looked like in one of my upcoming videos :))

I am in love with  each part of Italy. I had a chance to  get familiar  with  all of them  so far  (thanks to my darling who likes to dicover new places as much as I do, or maybe even more) and each part  I’m gonna visit again  and again  if necessary.

Today you’re gonna be introduced to one of the prettiest towns I’ve ever visited, the town called Spello.

So little, but yet soooooo nice. Its stone houses decorated with colorful flowers gives some special charm to the city.

So now I wish you to enjoy the pictures I’m posting.  🙂
