HONEY CINNAMON COOKIE RECIPE
If you are a cookie lover, just as I am, then you’ve come to the right place.
I decided to share with you a recipe for the tastiest cookies I’ve ever eaten.”The more you eat them, the more you want them”, that’s the only disadvantage, but who cares as long as you feel good 🙂
All you need is the following ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 100 g butter
- 100 g powder sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla sugar or grounded vanilla
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 4 tablespoons of honey
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda or baking powder
- 400-500 g white flour
- one big bowl
- a mixer
- baking tray
- parchment paper
Butter and egg needs to be at room temperature, otherwise they won’t combine properly.
Place the egg in the bowl and whisk it a little bit. Then add the butter, previously cubed, and mix both ingredients together. Pour inside a sugar, a vanilla sugar, a cinamon and a baking soda, and mix. Add a honey, mix it and at the end add a white flour. Once you add the flour to the dough, keep the mixing to a minimum. At the end the best advice is to use your hands for kneading a dough,. If it feels sticky, add a little more flour, like a handful at a time. You are looking for a solid consistency of a dough.
Wrap the dough into the plastic bag and place it in the fridge for at least an hour.
Now you are ready to roll the dough out to about 1/4 an inch thick and if necessary use a flour for dusting.
Cut the dough into desired forms and place them on the baking tray covered with a parchment paper.
Bake it in the pre-heated oven on 175 degrees Celsius ,some 10 minutes.
